In March, I read a total of five books and only abandoned one. Personally, I don’t like rating books by stars so here on my blog I’m going to categories them into Loved, Really Liked and Liked. Usually, I stop reading a book of I don’t like it so those go under Abandoned. On Goodreads, I don’t rate books. I purely use it for how many books I’ve read and haven’t read.
The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo
Smile by Raina Telgemeier
The Strange Library by Haruki Mirakami
Nana, Vol. 1 by Ai Yazawa
Shelter by Jung Yun
Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi
What books did you love or like in March?
Another month has finished and it was a good reading month, even though I abandoned a few books. Here are the books I finished this month:
- Like Water For Chocolate by Laura Esquivel
- Holes by Louis Sacher
- Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh
- Sputnik Sweetheart by Haruki Murakami
- Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
What did you read this month?
January is already over and in January I read 9 books. A lot of them were children’s books so I’m going to start with that first. Also, I am no longer rating books on Goodreads or here. But I will be “rating” books by how engaging I found them. This is because everyone is entitled to their own opinions and books are very subjective. You might hate a book and I might love it. With that said, here goes…
Recently, I finished reading The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It is a story about a boy named Milo, a dog named Tock and a bug named Humbug and their adventure in restoring Rhyme and Reason in a magical new world that Milo happened upon via a tollbooth.
